About Adrian

I hope to help students of all ages find joy and explore their creativity through the study of cello. In weekly lessons, students will develop their instrumental technique, aural skills, and understanding of music theory and reading. Whether a student is just starting out or has been playing for years, I can help enrich their musical life.

My teaching approach is flexible, as each student has a different set of needs and abilities. My aim is to help each student achieve their individual goals with cello-playing, whatever those may be. For beginning students, I draw largely on the Suzuki Method for repertoire and teaching philosophy. For younger children, parents should be prepared to be involved in lessons as well as home practice.

Lesson tuition includes seven group classes throughout the school year and one recital in the spring. Group class attendance is not mandatory, but highly recommended. Classes are split between adults and youth.
