About Valerie

Hello! My name is Valerie Munns Gathright and I grew up in a home full of music. I first fell in love with the piano as a little girl watching my father play ragtime, and that love has shaped everything I do as a teacher.

I am the founder of Mukilteo Music LLC. I work with students of all ages — including very young beginners — and take a patient, nurturing approach to help each student develop their musical abilities at their own pace.
