About Allison

I'm a voice teacher and I offer online and in-person singing lessons and vocal coaching to new and experienced singers in the Seattle area and Pacific Northwest. I'm all about bringing more beauty, joy, and laughter into the world. My singers discover the beauty and possibilities of their optimal voice, experience the endless joy and confidence singing provides, and embrace laughter when the inevitable vocal stumbles and bumps occur so they can dust off their shoulders, try again in good spirits, and make vocal magic happen.

The majority of my students are musical theatre-driven, but I cross-train my singers in various music genres and am happy to coach singers geared toward other genres, too. Great care and attention is given to mental health in auditioning and performing. Students' growth in confidence as singers and people is encouraged.

Additional services

Audition preparation — For actor/singers, audition and callback preparation can be part of sessions: song and monologue suggestions, teaching music and working on sides, selecting audition cuts, marking sheet music, guidance on resumes and headshot referrals, and general audition etiquette.

Music theory & basic piano — For students without a music background, music theory and sheet music reading are taught throughout lessons. Students who want to understand the basics of piano can also receive this training alongside their voice work.

Monologue & speech coaching — Available for students preparing a monologue for an audition, or for speech competition coaching.

Building your audition book — An audition book is a binder filled with a variety of prepared, ready-to-go song snippets in sheet music form. Allison helps singers find, gather, and learn music, and teaches how to properly mark and cut sheet music.
